Download Now1. Can I use my laptop to access and control MyVirtual Network's Wireless cameras and devices?
Yes, your laptop can be used as long as you have access to the internet. You can view live streaming video also, you simply click Log-In at www.myvirtualnet.com, you sign in using your User ID and your own password and you can easily control your digital cameras and/or devices that are on your MyVirtual Network System.
2. Can I see live video from my cell phone even when I am on vacation how about to access and control my cameras and devices from my cell phone?
Yes, we've made it easy for your cell phone to be able to access and control your cameras and devices as well as see live streaming video. The only thing you need is a cell phone that is web enabled and that supports JavaScript in order to view live streaming video. Normal wireless data rates will apply, so it is strongly recommended that you consider subscribing to a wireless data package from your cell phone carrier.
You may still be able to view just snapshots from your cell phone even it is not supported by JavaScript.
3. What are snapshots?
Snapshots are still images that are saved in your Event Archive files for later viewing. You simply log-in to your account and click on Event Archive and review the snapshots that were saved. Snapshots are saved only when your camera is in arm mode and a motion is detected.
4. What are Event Archive files?
The Event Archive files in your remote account are what stores all of your captured snapshots, video clips and other events.
5. Can I get a copy of saved snapshots for printing?
Yes, you can go to the Event Archive page in your remote account, go to your In-Box and click your archived file to select and view it. On the item view page select "Download" to transfer the file to your computer. The file is a .jpg image that you can view and print.
6. How far can I locate my cameras from my Gateway?
Your Camera's can be placed within proximity of 200 feet.
7. What is the difference between a Pan/Tilt Camera and a Fixed Position Camera?
The Pan/Tilt Camera allows you to remotely scan up/down and side to side for a panoramic view. It can save up to 4 viewing angles for easy scanning and has 3 levels of contrast adjustability. The Fixed Position Camera is stationary and allows viewing and recording at a fixed viewing point. Both of these cameras have integrated motion detection capabilities.
8. Does Video get recorded 24 hours a day?
The cameras do not record 24 continuous hours a day. You get Video Clips, Snapshots (still images) and Alert Notification whenever cameras are armed and motion is detected. The MyVirtual Network DVR (Digital Video Recorder) can record 24 hours a day 7 days a week for 30 days continuously and can be added to any system. If this is your first system kit purchase and wish to record 24/7 we suggest you look at our DVR Premium Kit or DVR Deluxe Kit and take advantage of our System Kit discounts. The DVR can also be added to any existing MyVirtual Network System at any time.
9. How much space do I have available? How can I avoid from running out of disk space?
The standard amount of disk space you have available for storage is 50 MB. If you need more storage space, you can easily upgrade your service plan for only $4.95 extra and get a total of 250 MB of storage space. Just call 1-800-520-6986 and press 1 for sales.
10. If I run out of storage space what happens?
When the archive fills up, the system will no longer be able to store additional items. The system will not automatically delete items. It is important to manage your archives, by selecting "Event Archive" in your remote account.
There, you can delete unneeded items in order to free up space.
Different types of events take up varying amounts of storage. Video clips take the most space, followed by snapshots, and then simple notification events.
If you are short of space, try deleting some unneeded video clips first.
You can also set the video clip length to the lowest duration that meets your needs. Setting a longer quiet period for motion detection will cut down the number of events, as well.

3) The Wireless Adapter connected to your Router is no working
3) Loose cables or the Wireless
Please reboot the gateway either by pressing second button from the top - hold down for approximately 10 seconds until all lights turn red. Once you release the button your system should come back online in about 3-5 minutes.
