†Our optional Power Supply Box is recommended; it's compact in size (5.8"L x 4.25"W x 1.5"D) and allows you to easily manage all of the power to your cameras at a central point. This will make your camera installation easier and neater. For example; instead of having (4) camera power supply plugs, plugged into a wall outlet or power strip, all of your camera wires can be neatly run to the power box. The box is normally placed near the router and gateway controller. The power plug on the end of the Power/Video Extension Cable simply is plugged directly into the power supply box. The power supply box has (1) plug and plugs into a standard wall outlet. You can add up to (8) analog cameras to the Power Supply Box**.
